Holmes, Ronald E., age 61, of Winneconne, passed away Wednesday morning, October 1, 2003, at Berlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hancock, WI on March 21, 1942, the son of Frank Sr. and Norma (Brown) Holmes. He graduated from Plainfield High School. Ron served in the US Army from 1959-1963. He married Linda Lee on June 12, 1965 in the Poy Sippi United Methodist Church. Ron worked 23 years for Wagner Electric Products in Winneconne, then 17 years for Nova Industries in Franklin, WI as a Design Engineer.
Ron will be missed by his wife Linda, sons, Ron (Laura) of Winneconne and Rob (Jessica) of Winneconne. Brothers, Frank Jr. (Edna) of Oshkosh, Ken (Marie) of Omro and Larry of Winneconne. Sisters, Verna (Maynard) McGinnis of Nekoosa, Vivian (Don) Krasavage of Oshkosh and Pat Holmes of Eureka. Brother-in-law William (Carole) Lee of Byron Center, MI and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Richard and Gloria Nachtrab and Mike and Tammy O'Brien.
The Funeral Service for Ron will be at the Omro Funeral Home on Friday, October 3, 2003 at 7PM with Rev. George Groves officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5PM until the time of the service. A memorial is being established.
