Ronald K. Liggett, age 77 formerly of Oshkosh, died at his home in Neenah on Wednesday, May 17, 2006. He was born in Chicago to the Late Millard and Edith (Berkshire) Liggett, on December 2, 1928. On July 1, 1989 he married Judith M. Rutkauskas. They enjoyed 16 years together.

Ron loved to fish. He traveled extensively with Judith, enjoyed working in his garden and being with his dogs. He was a detailed, sharp man, who would tell you "how it is". He was protective and always cared for Judith, even to the very end.

Ron is survived by his wife, Judith; sons: Bruce (Jodi) Liggett of Tempe, Arizona, Reverend Kerry (Donna) Liggett of Harrison, Arkansas, and Warren Liggett of Warrenville, Illinois; step-daughters: Jeanna Brotz of Appleton and Jenny (Robert) Moore of Omro; step-sons: Joseph (Chris) Brotz of Oshkosh and Jerry (Jaime) Brotz of Berlin; and 12 grandchildren. His brother: Jack (Marjorie) Liggett of Chicago survives Ron as well as his sisters: Mary Price of Glendale Heights, Illinois, and Susan (Rick) Winston of Princeton, Illinois. A sister: Marjorie (Bill) Zenker preceded him in death.

Funeral Services for Ron will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Reverend Kerry Liggett will officiate. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation and support at the funeral chapel on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
