Ronald E. Mulder, age 79, of Omro, passed away with his family by his side on March 7, 2017 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Ronald was born to Everett and Harriet (Giese) Mulder on January 27, 1938. After High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and went on to serve honorably in the Korean War. After his enlistment, he worked for Boeing Aircraft, Butkiewicz and Sons, and eventually retired from Leach Company. Ronald loved to play video games. He also loved everything about the Rocky Mountains and Denver, Colorado, including his favorite team, the Denver Broncos. Ronald loved his family and was a proud Air Force Veteran. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Jesse Novotny) Vandehei, two step-daughters: Terry (Scott) Svilk and Tracy Klier; sister, Patricia (Ruben) Yana; Sister-in-law, Virginia Mulder; Brother-in-law, Wayne Zimmer; Three grandsons: Austin, Roland (Taylor) and Trevor; Three step-granddaughters: Justyne, Antwonette, and Alivia as well as step-grandson, Cassius. Ronald is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Marlene Zimmer, his brother, Kenneth Mulder, and a nephew, Michael Rae Mulder. In accordance with Ronald's wishes, no ceremony will take place. The family of Ronald would like to extend a special thank you to the ER and ICU staff at Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh for the care and concern they gave to Ronald in his final days. If roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, place them in my father's arms and tell him they're from me. Tell him I love him and miss him, and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a while. Because remembering him is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
