Ronald F. Nemitz, age 77, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was born in the Town of Eldorado, on May 1, 1944, the son of the late Albert and Lillian (Henke) Nemitz. On March 20, 1965 he married his sweetheart of 56 years, Judith Dehn at First English Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. Ron proudly worked on the family farm with his brothers for many years and then drove semi for Schneider. Even in retirement, he was always a Farmer. Ron loved to putter in the garage and get into mischief. You never knew what you were going to find him doing when you went to the shop. The blue eyes and smile that Judy fell in love with still got him out of trouble even after 56 years. Ron will be remembered for his love of animals, especially his donkey Charlie, farming and dedication to his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Ron is survived by his wife, Judy; children: Renee (Larry) Ratajzcak, Julie Nemitz and Mike (Dawn) Nemitz; grandchildren: Michael Alexander and Liliana; sisters and brother: Marion Kuharski, Marge Ewald, Eileen Defferding, JoAnn Nemitz and Edmund Nemitz. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bernice (Roger) Orvis; brother, Ervin Nemitz; brothers-in-law, Sid Kuharski, Albert Ewald Jr. and Earl Defferding; and sister-in-law, Beverly Nemitz.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1013 Minnesota St., Oshkosh, with Rev. Jon Radichel-Wills officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
