Rose V. Thobaben, age 95, of Oshkosh, died Sunday morning, July 1, 2007 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on July 9, 1911 in Oshkosh to Frank and Albina (Metko) Youngwirth, the 14th of 18 children. Rose married William "Bim" Thobaben, Jr. Together they owned and operated Thobaben's East End Tavern until they retired to Pinellas Park, Florida in 1972. Bim preceded Rose in death in Pinellas Park, Florida in December of 1996. Rose is survived by family and friends.


Memorial funeral services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Deacon Raymond Brandenstein officiating.
