Ross R. Lange, age 68, of Oshkosh, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away March 30, 2007 at Froedtert Hospital from complications after surgery. He was born on April 9, 1938, the son of Robert and Eleanor Lange in Berwyn, Illinois. On June 10, 1962, he married the love of his life, Mary Ann Margis in Chicago, Illinois. They resided in Chicago where Ross owned his own cabinet business. In 1986, they moved to Wisconsin, where they owned and operated the Eatin & Drinkin Company until 1992.

Ross was an excellent carpenter; he loved woodworking and building just about anything. There wasn't anything Ross couldn't figure out and build. He also enjoyed sturgeon spearing, boating, watching NASCAR and getting in the car and driving anywhere the roads would lead him. He was also a member of the West Shore Fishing Club. Ross was the type of man who would do anything he could to help someone out, even if it meant putting his own needs aside.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary Ann; his son, Michael J. Lange of Delavan, WI; his pride and joy, his granddaughter, Kristin E. Lange also of Delavan; his sister, Peggy (Bob) Fitzgerald of San Lorenzo, CA; his brother in laws, Jack (Maureen) Margis of Crown Point, Indiana, Rich (Kathy) Margis Indianapolis, Indiana, Art (Dawn) Margis of Cumming, Georgia, many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his in-laws, Arthur and Bernice "Bea" Margis. During his lifetime, Ross touched many hearts and lives. He will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Sunday,April 1, 2007, from 4 to 7 P.M. and again on Monday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Omro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Ross will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park.
