Roxanne Lee (Schuetz) Block, age 57, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Caring Partners, Winneconne.
Roxanne was born Jan. 4, 1958 in Oshkosh. She attended Oshkosh North High School. In 1978, she married Michael Klepp and they had two children. The marriage ended in 1988, and in 2001, she was wed to Gene Block in Oshkosh.
Roxanne held various manufacturing and office positions until 2002, when she earned a CNA license. She worked in home health care until she was diagnosed with Pick's Disease in 2007.
Roxanne enjoyed sewing, reading, camping, sheepshead and darts. She also volunteered at the Oshkosh Public Library.
She is survived by her husband, Gene; children: Rebecca (Jason) Glover of Greenville, SC and Patrick Klepp of Oshkosh; step-daughter, Stephanie Zittlow of Oshkosh; siblings: Brian (Connie) Schuetz, Ruth Percey and Robert Percey, all of Oshkosh; six grandchildren: Kyle, Kayle, Matthew, Caitlin, Conner and Brannagh, all of Greenville, SC.
Other relatives include father-in-law, Arnold Block, and siblings-in-law: Arnold (Kris) Block, Raymond (Kathy) Block, Joe (Sandra) Block, Colleen (Todd Meyer) Block, Michael (Jackie Nordbo) Block, and Carey Jo Block; cousins: Carol (Russ) Reinders, William (Becky) Hayes, Steven Sosinski, Ray (Julie) Sosinski, Walter (Pennie) Sosinski, John (Jenni) Sosinski; Kathy (Bob) Ochowitz, and Beth (Lee) Franzen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna M. Schuetz and Wilson H. Percey, and her mother-in-law, Joyce.
The family would like to extend deep appreciation to the staff of Care Partners, Winneconne, for the extraordinary care and kindness given to Roxanne and her family, and to Generations Hospice of Fond du Lac.
The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Seefeld Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.
