Russell D. Orley, age 55, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly Friday evening, May 4, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Russ was born August 24, 1956, the son of Wilbert and Patricia (Homernik) Orley. Russ enjoyed finding and refinishing old furniture and antiques, and above all else, goofing off with his four girls, who filled his heart with joy, and his "kids".

Russ is loved and will be missed by his wife, Laurie Collins; daughter, Jessica Striepling; grandchildren, Alexandra, Nevaeh and Elizabeth; stepson, Willie; brothers, Nick (Judy) Orley, Mark (Mary) Orley; sisters, Sandy (Mike) Weckler, Peggy (Danny) Reignier; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandma & grandpa Orley and grandma & grandpa Homernik; parents, Patricia Ann Warpinski; Wilbert Nickolas Orley; brother, Mathew Allen Orley and niece, Christina Ruth Orley.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 Noon. A memorial in his name is being established.
