Ruth M. (Kramer) Lorbiecki age 101 of Fond du Lac, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away very peacefully on December 19, 2011 at ManorCare Nursing Home in Fond du Lac. Ruth was born November 28, 1910 in Taychedah to Paul and Anna (Potter) Kramer.
At about 15 months of age, she went to live with her foster parents, Aunt Lillian and Uncle Ed Potter in Bancroft, Wisconsin because of her mother's very poor health. She was raised in a very loving home as one of their own. She went to Spirit Land country grade school and Plainfield High School.
After meeting Edwin Lorbiecki, they went to Waukeegan, Illinois and were married on November 27, 1936. Ed passed away on August 14, 1976. In 1941, Ruth and Ed moved to Oshkosh and Ruth found employment at Excelsior Company as a machine operator retiring in 1968.
Ruth and Ed had no children. She thought of all her nieces, nephews, and many cousins as her own to spoil. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Oshkosh and attended Mass and said the Rosary very faithfully at the nursing home.
Surviving Ruth are her nieces: Patricia (Kramer) McGarrah of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Audrey Rhyner of Oshkosh, and Teresa (Rick) Neals of Brookfield; nephew, Oram (Sandy) Kramer of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; special cousins and caregivers, Chuck and Mary Day of Fond du Lac; cousins, Ella Jane Hall of Stevens Point and Kenneth (Pat) Chamberlin of Bancroft; and many more cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Oram P. Kramer and her sister, Patricia (Kramer) Fiedler.
