Ruth Marie Eichmann Starrine, age 78 of Oshkosh, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008. She was born to the late Albert and Dorthea (Kruger) Zuehlke on January 20, 1930. She married Arnold A. Eichmann on October 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on September 6, 1965. She later married Richard Starrine.

Ruth was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She was always helping others and enjoyed watching nature. She worked for Carolina Soap and Candle and later in life she worked for Oshkosh Care until retirement.

Ruth is survived by sisters, Esther (Eber) Leavitt and Irene Eichmann Kurowski; sisters-in-law, Leona Zuehlke and Marlene Eichmann; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Rose Spurgeon. She was preceded in death by brothers: Walter, Wilbert, and George Zuehlke.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Pastor Martin Ruge officiating. A time for visiting and sharing of memories will be at the funeral chapel from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield, Wisconsin.
