Obituary
Samantha J. Soda, 33, of Oshkosh, passed away on March 2, 2025, she was born on July 12, 1991. Sam lived in Oshkosh until moving to Omro, where she graduated from Omro High School, class of 2009.
Her one true love and light of her life is her cherished son, Ethan. Sam loved every minute of being his mother and lived her life for him. Together they shared their fondness for cats, sometimes thinking they should "have just one more!" Recently, Sam grew a green thumb and proudly displayed her special and abundant collection of plants. She also loved butterflies, playing Bingo, and going on day trips. She worked for several years at 4imprint.
Sam left us much too soon and is dearly loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her precious son, Ethan Soda; father, James (Diane) Soda of Moncks Corner, SC, mother, Jodi (Ross) Lemmer of Oshkosh, WI; two sisters, Heather (Lance) Binder-Rivere of Crystal, MN and Dezaray (Zebula) Zielinski of Mosinee, WI; brother, Nicholas (Emma) Soda of Oshkosh, WI; two step-brothers, Christopher (Erin) Friedrich of Sherwood, WI and Justin (Rhea) Friedrich of Minneapolis, MN; grandparents, Leland and Susan Soda of Ripon, WI; five nephews and nieces, Austin Sina, Zacharias and Adrianna Zielinski, Hudson and Everett Friedrich and Odin Buck; Ethan's father, Randy Oppermann.
A time of gathering to celebrate Sam's life will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home, 425 Jefferson Ave. Omro.
"Sqweeky" has now joined her special Grandpa Charlie (Grumpy Grandpa) and her Grandma Diane (DeeDee) Wheaton.
