Sandra "Sandy" L. Rieben, age 71, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014. She was born in Oshkosh on July 11, 1943 the daughter of the late Francis and Lorraine (Parsons) Rieben. Sandy loved cats, horses and Western movies, David Hasselhoff, and Hello Kitty. She will be remembered for her loving, childlike attitude, and her great imagination.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers; Richard and Gerald Rieben, and infant brother, Thomas. She is survived by sisters-in-law: Marlene and Rosalie Rieben; and several cousins, nieces and nephews, including her favorite cousin David Weeks.
The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Seefeld Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery, Oshkosh.
