Sandra L. Sherman, age 72, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, March 03, 2015 at Aurora Hospital. She was born November 28, 1942, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Milton and Eileen (Ziebell) Schumacher. Sandra was the first woman to graduate from Fox Valley Technical College as a truck driver. She loved caring for animals. Over the course of her lifetime, she met many people, whom she welcomed into her family. Each one had a special place in her heart. Sandra enjoyed crafts; she spent many hours sewing clothes for her family and friends. She was very active in her class reunion committee.
Sandra is loved and will be missed by her children, Randy (Barbara Walker) Beyer, Robin (Todd Hunt) Beyer-Drexler, Julie (Martin) Paulik; grandchildren, Kyle William Summerville, Samantha Marie Beyer, Samantha Shirley Walker. She is further survived by Robert Fox, Linda Molinari, her beloved pets, grand dogs and many lifelong friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Seefeld Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:30 p.m. Sandra will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her name to Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
