Sharon G. Gunkel, age 74, of Omro, passed away Sunday morning, February 21, 2016, at Park View Health Center. She was born February 21, 1942, the daughter of Gerald and Gloria (Weber) Gebhardt. Sharon married Dennis Gunkel on January 20, 1962 in Milwaukee. Sharon had worked for and retired from Park View Health Center after 18 years of service. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed antiquing and making countless Afghans.

Sharon is loved and will be missed by her husband, Dennis; her children and their spouses, Debra Remer of Omro, Christine Troudt of Oshkosh, Craig of MN and David of Florida; 9 grandchildren; brother, Jeff Gebhardt; sisters, Julie Lisowski, Wendy Fujinaka; half-sister, Brenda Gebhardt; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Gebhardt.

Private family services have been held.
