Obituary

Sharon Kaye Loker, 67, of Oshkosh died on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born on November 14, 1941 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, a daughter of Charles and Clara (Mayer) Flanigan. Sharon and Jerry A. Loker have been married nearly 50 years since they gave their vows on September 6, 1959.
1970 was the year Sharon became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her congregation members will remember her fondly as the friendly face that greeted them upon visits to the Kingdom Hall. She has earned admiration for her love of children and her general demeanor as a caring, compassionate person.
Sharon's legacy will live on through the love of her family: husband, Jerry Loker; daughter, Wendy (Nate) Menzel of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Brock and Dillon Sennott and Alyssa Menzel; brothers, Wayne (Pat), Donald (Donna) and Randal Flanigan; sisters, Patricia (Tom) McClosky and Sally (Ed) Walotka; sister-in-law, Joann Falk; and brothers-in-law, Fred (Bernadine) Loker and Robert Scharf. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharikaye, and granddaughter, Kimberly Sennott.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held at 7:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3343 Omro Road, on Friday, January 30th. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM. She will be buried at Riverside Cemetery.
The comfort provided for Sharon and our family while at Theda Clark was above and beyond our expectations. We are extremely grateful for the kindness shown by the hospice group, nurses and doctors.
Services have been entrusted to Seefeld Funeral Chapels. Condolences may be shared at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
