Sherry A. Kronberg, age 73, of Omro, died Friday morning, April 29, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Dodgeville, WI on December 27, 1942, the daughter of Andrew and Kathryn DeBoer. Sherry grew up in Brandon, WI, attended Brandon Schools and was a graduate of Brandon High School. She later attended Central College in Pella, Iowa and Marian University in Fond du Lac. Sherry married Kurt Kronberg in Oshkosh on October 1, 1981. Sherry had worked as an LPN and later worked for a number of years until her retirement in the Human Resource Dept. at Square D. Sherry was an accomplished musician who loved playing the piano. She enjoyed traveling the back roads while taking day trips, watching birds, especially the Cardinals when they were singing and was an avid reader. Sherry was a member of Waukau United Methodist Church and was the Music Director at church.Sherry is loved and will be missed by her husband, Kurt; son, David Carlson and his wife, Kathy of Eagan, MN; daughter, Kris Kronberg of Appleton; brother and sister in law, Rick and Janet DeBoer of Brandon; granddaughters, Cindy, Corinna and Crystal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Karl.The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the funeral home in Omro from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then again on Saturday, May, 7, 2016 at Waukau United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Tommy Sukhyun Jung officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name is being established for Waukau United Methodist Church.The family would like to thank all their friends and relatives for the cards, prayers, support and love shown Sherry and the rest of the family during this most difficult time. They would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the amazing staff's at Aurora Medical Center-Oshkosh; Eden Meadows-Oshkosh and Aurora St. Luke's- Milwaukee.
