Shirley J. Desjadon, age 89, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening, July 1, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born on January 17, 1919 in Panton, Vermont to Grant and Stella (Carpenter) Allen. On June 9, 1938 Shirley married Arthur J. Desjadon in Shoreham, Vermont and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1974.


Left to mourn her passing is two daughters, Joan Canney of Oshkosh and Mary Nissen of Simi Valley, California; a son, Leonard (Lorraine) Desjadon of Winchester, Kentucky;10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Shirley in death is her husband, parents, a son, Robert Desjadon, a granddaughter, Lisa Desjadon, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters.
