Stella "Pat" Mayfield, 96, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Buffalo, New York, on September 8, 1908, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Suplicki.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Patricia) Leary of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Jennifer Leary (fiance Mike Bowden) of Oshkosh and Robert (Rebecca) Leary of Black Earth; and a sister, Lorraine Nowak of Stevens Point. Her sisters, Rose Mendyke and Alice Wochinski and brothers, Frank and Edward Suplicki preceded her in death. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 on Monday, December 13th, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 830 W. Westhaven Drive. The Rev. Daniel Felton will be the celebrant. Family and friends may gather at St. Raphael's on Monday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment services will be held at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday.
Our deep appreciation is extended to Father Dan, the nurses on 2nd and 5th floors at Mercy Medical Center, the Affinity Hospice nurses and especially to her good friends, Tammy, Jody, Missy and Nancy, who cared for her at home.
