Sterling "Jim" Pelton, age 69, of Omro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2006, at his home. Jim enjoyed the simple things in life, being outdoors, fishing, spending time with family and friends. He was a happy go lucky man, who everyone liked and enjoyed being around.

Jim is survived by his sons, Don Pelton of Naperville, Illinois, Jim Pelton of New York; his brother, Paul of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Reed Olivia and Robert James Pelton; his significant other, Rose Geffers of Omro, other relatives and many friends.

A private family service is being held.
