Steven "Steve" A. Mallas, age 47, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born in Madison on September 4, 1971 to Leonard and Joan (Siebold) Mallas. Steve graduated from Laconia High School, Rosendale in 1990. We hope you will remember his sense of humor, his laugh, big heart, his love of bad beer, Stephen King novels, and loud music. AC/DC will never sound the same again.

Steve is survived by his parents: Leonard (Debra) Mallas and Joan (David) Schultz; brothers and sisters; Jodi (Fiancé, Scott Roffers), Jeff (Julie) Schultz, Doug (Heather) Schultz, Dustin (Fiancée, Allison Patzlaff), Brenda Rosik, Tami (Jim) Fritz, April (Steve) Buhrow, Jeanne (Ben) Oberle, Mitchell (Krista) Mallas and Aaron (special friend, Angie) Mallas; aunt and uncle, Lee and Faye Siebold; uncle, William Albrecht; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous good friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jake and Lucile Siebold, Avis Mallas, and Anthony Mallas; aunt, Ruth Ann Albrecht; cousin Michael Albrecht; and infant nephew Eli Thomas Oberle.

A visitation will be on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at SEEFELD FUNERAL HOME, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh with Rev. Tom Meyer officiating. A memorial fund in Steve's name is being established.
