Susan A. Grant, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, October 29, 2010, at Lake Shore Manor in Oshkosh. Born on August 11, 1932, in Oshkosh to John and Dorothy (Kropft) Evans, Susan was a life-long Oshkosh resident.
For over 20 years, Susan was a middle school teacher at Webster-Stanley Middle School prior to her retirement. She was a member of First Congregational Church & Choir, a member of UW Alumni Association, Oshkosh Lawyer's Wives, a drama teacher for Webster-Stanley and performed on stage at the Grand Theatre, a member of Campfire Girls, and was a Docent at the EAA Museum and the Grand Theatre.
Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Daniel (Laura) Grant of Neenah and Peter Grant of Wausau; and three grandchildren, Jakob, Elijah, and Nathaniel. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Martha Grant.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in First Congregational Church, 137 Algoma Blvd., with Reverends Ralph and Carol DiBiasio-Snyder officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 12 Noon until service time at the church.
