December 11, 1957 – November 4, 2025
Theresa A. DeMars, age 67, passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, surrounded by her children. She was born on December 11, 1957, in Neenah, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Marvin and Susan (Jury) Rochon.
A longtime resident of Neenah, WI, Theresa lived a simple and caring life. She enjoyed the companionship of her many beloved dogs and cats over the years and was happiest in the comfort of home and family.
Theresa is survived by her three children: Daniel (Jackie) Jacob of Neenah, WI; Michelle (Cory) Jacob of Marquette, MI; and Kristin (Bryan) Boelter of Fox Crossing, WI. She is further survived by her sister, Wanda (Dennis) Hase of Lake Tomahawk, WI; her brother, Patrick (Mary) Rochon of Black Creek, WI; six grandchildren, Nathan (Coral), Hannah, Ellah, Maricxa, Legend and Rosie; great-grandchildren, Harmony, Tristan, and Ellie; nephew, Ben Rochon and niece, Emily Rochon, both of Black Creek, WI.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many friends Theresa made at her former residences, whose companionship and care brought her great joy throughout the years.
In accordance with Theresa's wishes, there will be no formal services or celebrations. She will be cremated and laid to rest beside her mother at Oakhill Cemetery in Neenah. Some of her ashes will also be combined with those of her beloved pets and spread at a location she held dear.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her honor to Saving Paws Animal Rescue (savingpaws.com, N3141 Meade St., Appleton, WI 54913).
The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Aurora Medical Center for their compassionate care, and Project Linus (projectlinus.org) for the beautiful quilt and pillow covering that brought warmth and brightness to her room in her final days.
