Theresa Stenson, age 90, of Omro, died November 4, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Theresa was born October 14, 1924, in Munich, Germany, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Xavier Schweiger. She married William W. Stenson on July 4, 1951 in Germany. They moved to the United States in 1952. Theresa had worked for and retired from Winnebago Mental Health Institute in Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Omro. Theresa enjoyed traveling with her husband and crocheting. Family was very important to her and she cherished the times spent with them.Theresa is dearly loved and will be missed by her daughter, Helga (Don) Fernette of Cannon Falls, MN; granddaughter, Rene´ Fernette of Roberts, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 7, 2014, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 Madison Ave, Omro from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Omro Cemetery.
