Thomas J. Hannan, age 56, of Oshkosh, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at his home. Tom was born on May 24, 1949 in Oshkosh to George and Beatrice (Carrow) Hannan. He was a 1967 graduate of Oshkosh High School and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and traveling. Tom served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom was employed at Ameritech Telephone Company for 31 years before his retirement in 1999 with the position of manager.
Survivors include one son: Benjamin Hannan of Neenah; one daughter: Mollie (Roberto) Emsley-Wilson of Oshkosh; one granddaughter: Phoebe Emsley of Oshkosh; his mother: Beatrice Ziegelbauer of Oshkosh; two brothers: Gerald Hannan of Winneconne; Mark (Barb) Hannan of Oshkosh; stepbrother: John (Mary) Ziegelbauer of Valrico, Florida; stepsister: Joan (Robert) McClyman of Wisconsin Dells; and his friend and companion: Kathy Hunt of Oshkosh. Preceding Tom in death was his father, George, on April 23, 1962.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Sister Judy Miller officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
