Obituary
Tom Melson Segnitz, born March 17, 1931, died peacefully at home with family, January 17,2024. He served in the Army Honor Guard in San Francisco during the Korean War Conflict. Later he was an English professor at UW-Oshkosh and then Assistant Dean of students. He was instrumental in student government at UW-O, and implemented the Honors program with Brian McKnight who was in the Geology department. Tom retired in 1991 and made a huge impact on many students lives, who have kept in touch with him throughout his life.
He has one survivng son, Eric, his life partner Bożena Cieszynski of 38 years, and many, many friends; he will be missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
