Thomas C. Young, age 59, of Pickett, passed away after a brief illness, on June 27, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Tom was born in Oshkosh on April 18, 1954 to Cleve and Carol (Cizinsky) Young. Tom was a skilled auto body repairman. He enjoyed working on his house, cars and making his old lawnmower like new. He was very talented at grilling, making whole meals outside.
Tom is survived by his sisters, Yvonne Tanner of Omro, Carolyn (Oscar) Heubel of Mayville, WI, and Jean Fuchs of Vernon, AL; brother, Joe (Connie) Young of Marine City, MI; special friends, June and Dennis; nieces; nephews; his K-9 companion, Sassy; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Suzanne M. Fink; brother in law, Chuck Fuchs.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Omro Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., with Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Tom will be laid to rest in the Omro Cemetery.
