Tyler A. Rentmeester
January 8, 2004-July 31, 2026

Tyler, 22, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Cristina & Jesse Rentmeester and his siblings, Paige, Lydia, Landin, Lana, Shaddia, Eve, Shariya, Hazel, Zeke, Silas, Tre, Faith and Hope.
Tyler loved his family fiercely and always found a way to make someone smile and he especially took pride in helping babysit his younger siblings. Tyler had a strong passion for fixing and building things. He loved camping, cooking, being outside, hunting and fishing with his family, spending time at Papa and Oma’s cabin, vacations, and he was always putting together something.
He was so talented, funny and smart. Tyler loved his work as a dietary aide in the kitchen at Bella Vista. He especially loved being with the residents and serving them their meals. When Tyler first got his job, it was important for him to get to know each of the residents, so he would carry around a notebook with their special orders and dietary needs. He even would make sure the residents had their favorite donut on Friday donut day. Tyler always came home from work with a funny story or a joke; most of them inappropriate.
Tyler graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 2022 and then took some college classes before deciding he wanted to be a dietary aide. While in school, Tyler loved anything math related and participated in the Math Club and Robotics.
Tyler is also survived by his Papa, Oma, Grandma Molly, Grandma Sandy, Grandpa Glen, Uncle Zach, Uncle JJ, Aunt Sasha, Uncle Chris and Aunt Brittany, Uncle Chris and Aunt Holly, Aunt Amber, First mom Kelly, many cousins, other relatives and friends of the family.
Tyler is proceeded in death by his Grandma Tammy, Uncle Adam, great grandparents, and great Granny who really adored Tyler.
Thank you for those who cared for Tyler including Omro Police and Fire Department, many first responders, Winnebago Sheriff officers, and friend/first responder, Austin. We will always be grateful for you.

Dear Tyler, our dear son,

Although our time together was short, we will forever cherish the memories we created. We love you so much and will continue to miss you every single day. As Landin said, “God is getting a good one.” Until we see you again, please take care of us down here.
