V. Geraldine Young, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, as Oregon, Wisconsin. She was born the daughter of William and Mary (Struntz) Schuppert. She married Benjamin F. Young in Oshkosh on October 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1987.
Prior to her marriage Geraldine was Executive Secretary and Treasurer of Hart Supply Company of Oshkosh. Later she was a secretary for the Oshkosh Area Public Schools and Administration offices.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Phillip) Billings and grandsons, Zachary and Alexander Billings. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Mary Ann Young; sisters: Genevieve Mary Klafke and Betty June Bronkhorst; and brothers: Richard and Arnold Schuppert.
A Private Memorial Mass will be held for Geraldine at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 24, 2005, at St. John Catholic Church, 434 W. South Park, Father William Van DeKreeke officiating. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
