Veronica (Cady) George, 82 of Berlin, Wisconsin left this world to go to Heaven on March 26, 2017 with her family by her side. Rona was born on July 21, 1934, to the late Leo and Elizabeth (Olsen) Kurowski in Green Bay. Veronica enjoyed cooking, fishing, writing, reading, vacationing in the warm climates, and all family events. Her family meant everything to her and she enjoyed her time with her loved ones most of all. Veronica fulfilled a life goal by writing her memoirs titled "Footprints Through The Past" (2016), which outlined her childhood and life story; events that made her who she was. She was working on her second book at the time of her passing. Veronica is preceded in death by her beloved youngest daughter, Sheryl Raddatz, and her brother, Carl (Hazel) Kurowski. Veronica is survived by her husband David, whom she married in 1998, her daughter: Michelle Bloom of Berlin, her sons: Derril (Karen) Cady of Manawa, Daniel Cady of Winchester, VA, and Jeff Cady of Oshkosh. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Carrie (Dan) Fehring, Mandy Bucholtz-Baumann, Melissa (Sam) Egdorf, Joshua Cady, Nicole (Forest) Nett, and Cadi Raddatz; Great-grandchildren: Kyle Baumann, Alex Fehring, Elizabeth Bucholtz-Draves, Isaiah Fehring, Aubrey Egdorf, and Sadie Egdorf; and one Great-great-grandchild, Willow Bucholtz-Draves. Veronica is also survived by her siblings: Eunice Larsen, Arleen Snyder, Larry Kurowski, and Ed Kurowski. Veronica will be remembered for her love and compassion for others. She lovingly helped many people and was a blessing to those in her life. Her Christian faith and love for God was obvious to all. Together with her husband, she studied the Bible and achieved ordination in 2003. She was a living example of a true Christian. A Service for Rona will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home, 425 Jefferson Ave in Omro at 4:00 PM. A time of visitation will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service, at the Funeral Home.
