Virginia "Ginny" Faust, age 83, of Oshkosh, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at her home. She was born May 3, 1925 in Oshkosh to Harold and Eva (Hoffman) Mueller. Virginia married Gilbert Faust on August 27, 1949 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on November 30, 1995.

Virginia was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and belonged to several of its organizations such as Grace Circle, Prayer Circle and Agape. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her loving children: Thomas (Lynda) Faust of Oshkosh, James (Kathleen) Faust of Fond du Lac, John Faust of Madison, Eve (Stephen) Blum of Oshkosh and Robert (Vickie) Faust of Temecula, California. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Barbara (Duane) Steckbauer and Judith Waterman; and a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Mueller. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Yvonne Frank and brother William Mueller.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska St., with Pastor Gregg Schoeneck officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday at the church from 11:00AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
