Virginia (Ginger) Rogers nee Kilham
Most loved mother, grandmother, aunt and defender of those in need, passed into Heaven, November 5, 2006. Born November 14, 1928 in Quincy, Massachusetts to C. Rodman and Ann Morton Kilham, Ginger spent her growing up years in Milwaukee where she graduated Milwaukee University School in 1946, then attended Garland Junior College, Boston and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She married Robert W, Rogers (Milwaukee Country Day School, 1942) December 29, 1949 and divorced in 1963. She was a member of the Junior League and continued volunteer work until just two months before her death. In 1995 she moved to the Appleton area to be close to her family and beloved grandson. There she was a member of the Menasha Senior Citizens staff.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Aimee Lincoln Rogers (1975) and sister Jocelyn (Joe) Fothergill. Her beloved son, Chip Rogers, passed away on the same day as Ginger. She is survived by her daughter,
Marcia (Patrick) Streicher, Menasha, son Bradford (Samantha) Rogers, and cherished grandson, Rodman Streicher. She is also survived by nephews, Jett Fothergill, James Fothergill, Jack (Anne)Fothergill and Joe D. Fothergill.
A dual memorial service for Ginger and Chip will be held Thursday, November 9 at 4:30 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church,226 Washington St., Menasha. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd Street, New
