Wayne K. Felix, age 72, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening, May 8, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on November 29, 1934 in Oshkosh to Kenneth Wilson Felix and Lorraine Johana (Mathe) Felix. Wayne married Frances Ann "Tootie" Losse on October 20, 1956 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Frances preceded Wayne in death on August 10, 1997.
Wayne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Oshkosh Gun Club, Fox Valley Gun Club, and Springbrook Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed time spent with his family, hunting, shooting skeet, driving his car, and leisurely meals out. Wayne was employed as a custodial fireman for the Oshkosh School District until his retirement in 1995. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.


Survivors include a son, Kenneth (Tom Clochesy) of Oshkosh; a daughter, Delores (Robert) Stockinger of Oshkosh; two grandsons, Nathan Paul and Justin Lee Stockinger both of Oshkosh; a sister, Darlene Felix of Fond du Lac; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Russell and Margaret Losse of Oshkosh, Robert and Linda Kurth of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews, and many friends. Preceding Wayne in death are his wife, parents, infant son, Paul Andrew Felix, father and mother-in-law, George Edward and Marie Ann (Rasey) Losse, brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Judy Felix, a brother-in-law, Robert Losse, and a nephew, Steven Meyer.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend William Van DeKreeke officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
