Wilbur E. Lewis, age 81, of Eureka, died peacefully Monday, April 6, 2015. He was born July 31, 1933, in the town of Rushford, the son of Everett and Helen (Gehrke) Lewis. Wilbur was educated in the Omro School System and graduated in 1951. He married Sandra Stuck on March 13, 1965. Wilbur was a lifelong dairy farmer and was proud to have received many awards throughout the years for his Registered Holsteins. In addition to being a full time farmer, Wilbur took great pride in taking care of the Eureka Cemetery for 47 years.Wilbur is loved and will be missed by his wife, Sandy; children, Dan (Laura) Lewis of Oshkosh, Ernest (Julie Fouts) Lewis of Cecil and Teresa (Tony) Cimino of DePere; grandchildren, Amanda (Keith) Wirch, Robin, Sarah, Cory and Heidi Lewis and Paige and Carmin Cimino; brothers and sisters in law, Robert Lewis of Oshkosh, Armand and Christine Lewis of Omro; sisters and brothers in law, Darlene and Ron Besaw of Eureka, William King of rural Berlin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janet King and sister in law, Marion Lewis.The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then again on Friday, April 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Wilbur will be laid to rest in Eureka Cemetery.
