William J. Paffenroth, age 72, of Oshkosh, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Aurora Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh, on November 26, 1939, to William and Margaret (Ternes) Paffenroth . He graduated from Oshkosh High School. He served his country in the US Air Force. Bill married Gail Ann Ginnow on March 20, 1965, in Oshkosh. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Bill was a talented, hardworking man and it showed in his home and landscaping. He retired from Rockwell after over 30 years.

Bill was loved and will be missed by his five daughters, Lisa (Scott) Maloney of Park Falls, Laura (Steve) Koehler of Oshkosh, Heather (Pat Quinn) Paffenroth of Oshkosh, Lindsay (Kevin) Deer of Omro and Crystal (Mike Herter) Paffenroth of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Krystal, Dillon, Luke, Patrick, and Kane; one great granddaughter, Grace; sister, Carol (Gary) Ellner; brother in law, Gary Ginnow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Gail.

Funeral Services for Bill will be held at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Lake View Memorial Park from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
