William "Del" Pressley, age 52, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday morning, January 6, 2011, at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1958, in Colorado, weighing only three pounds, to Donald and DeeAnn (Grandee) Pressley. Del married Annette "Annie" Biernat on February 21, 1998 in Oshkosh. He had asked Annie to renew their wedding vows this year.
As a young man, Del graduated at the top of his class and went on to play football, ride bulls, and wrestle. He also served our country in the U.S. Navy. Del was a 4th generation carpenter. A loving and caring individual, Del was always helping less fortunate people. No challenge was too big or too small. He battled his disabilities and cauda equina syndrome like the comedian he was. He always gave people nicknames that suited them. Del could not cook except when it came to his famous meatloaf…mmm.
Del was able to meet PBR stars a year ago. He also was on the Cascade Racing Team in Oshkosh and followed NASCAR. His passion was spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. Family always came first in his life.
