Obituary

William L. Wagner, age 75, of Omro, died Monday, June 04, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born on April 23, 1932 in Oshkosh, the son of Leo W. and Viola D. (Farber) Wagner. Bill graduated from Omro High School and later married Patricia A. Bauer on August 6, 1955. Bill was self employed and then later worked and retired from Condon Oil Company. He was a faithful and active member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Omro Kiwanis Club. Bill was a person who loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed deer hunting with his son, grandson and the Sawyer Swampers and also liked to go ice fishing in Sawyer County. Bill took great pride in keeping a beautiful lawn and tending to his small garden.
Bill is loved and will be missed by his wife, Patricia A.; son, Curtis Lee (Linda) Wagner; daughter, Lynn Annette Wagner; grandson, Jared (Janeen) Wagner; great grandsons, Austin and Garrett; brother, Russell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Viola Wagner; father and mother in law, DeForest and Mae Bauer; and sister in law, Geraldine.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at GRACE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 502 COUNTY ROAD M, PICKETT, WI 54964-9520 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Russell Kloehn officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukau Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to: Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice, 816 W. Winneconne Ave., Neenah, WI 54956.
The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice and Staff for all their care and support, especially Norm, Kristin and Irene.
