Willis R. (Jim) Ehrenberg passed away on April 25, 2017 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Willis was born on December 14, 1923 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to the late Frank and Norma (Heller) Ehrenberg. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on January 3, 1941 and was discharged on November 30, 1946. He served on the USS Mississippi battleship as a 1st class Gunners Mate on the destroyer USS Wainwright and APA 174.
On December 24, 1954 he married Helen Magolski in Oshkosh. They have shared 62 wonderful years together. Willis worked for Leach Co. for 39 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Norma Ehrenberg, one sister and brother-in-law, Delores (Donald) Dobisch, and his sister-in-law, Jeanne Ehrenberg.
Willis is survived by his loving wife, Helen, his sister, Vivian (Ray) Gordon, of Fond Du Lac, his brother Dennis Ehrenberg, of Oshkosh, his niece Susan (Scott) Dreger, and his nephew Steven (Janelle) Cain.
At Willis' request, there will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made in Willis' name to the American Heart Association.
