Obituary

Wilma G. Trochinski, age 86, of Omro, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Aurora Hospital. She was born December 25, 1920 in Waukau, the daughter of Archie and Eva (Fitzpatrick) Craig. Wilma was a graduate of Omro High School and Green Lake Normal College. She married Leonard Trochinski on July 28, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omro and together raised their family and farmed near Waukau for many years. Wilma loved to cook; baking pies and always making sure everyone had cookies to eat. She also enjoyed sewing, flowers, playing cards and selling hand-made doll clothes on E-Bay. Wilma was a lifetime and faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Omro.

Wilma is loved and will be missed by her children, Carolyn (Anthony Jr.) Dolata of Appleton, Evelyn (Jim) Kress of Oshkosh, Jerry (Barb) Trochinski of Phillips, WI; Gene (Mary Jo) Trochinski of Winter Park, Fl and Cathy (Randy) Ellis of Cato, WI; grandchildren, Tony III (Becky) Dolata, Rosemary (special friend, Yasin) Dolata, Martina (Mark) Strehlow, Amy (Craig) Spreeman, Andrew Trochinski, Eric (Jill) Trochinski, Heather (Allen) Phillips, Mark (Brooke) Trochinski, Christi Trochinski, Craig Trochinski, Travis (Ambry) Trochinski, Traci Trochinski, Briana Ellis and Brent Ellis; great grandchildren, A.J., Tess, Max, Liam, Gunnar, Skylar, Zakary, Cole, Alexis; daughter in law, Nancy Trochinski of Berlin; niece, Mary Craig; other relatives and many friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; son, Dick; brothers, Barney and Bob Craig and grandson, Adam Trochinski.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. and then again on Thursday, May 10, 2007 in Marian Hall at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., Omro, from 10:00 A.M. – 10: 45 A.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 A.M. with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukau Cemetery.
