Zachery Carl Peters "Big Shots" age 13, of Oshkosh, went to join his great grandma, Luella in Heaven on Saturday, August 16, 2014. He was born on April 4, 2001, in Oshkosh, the son of Karrie Goodacre and William Peters, Jr. Zach was a student at South Park Middle School and enjoyed time spent playing basketball, listening to music, skateboarding, and his biggest passion was scootering. He was sensitive and caring, fun to be around and his family was very important to him.
Survivors include his mother, Karrie Goodacre; his father, William Peters, Jr.; siblings, McKenzie Hittman, Noah Hittman, and Lucas Peters; grandparents, Kathy & Clem Goodacre, Jr; Linda and William Peters Sr. "nana & papa"; step-father, Christopher Hittman; step-siblings, Tyler Davies and Amber Hittman; aunts and uncles, Larry (Kim) Jarvenpaa, Jr., Mark (Tiffany) Goodacre, Melissa (Scott) Hittman, Amye Peters; cousins, Jon, Jesse, Jacob, Michael, Aaron, Madison, Hunter, Morgan, Eli, Tayla, Tyler, Sadie, Austin, Tyrese and Zayda; great aunts, uncles, and many other close relatives; his special friend, Hannah; and many other good friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents; great uncles and aunt.
Funeral services for Zach will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W. 9th Ave., with Reverend Martin Ruge officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
