GOING BACK IN TIME

Our History

The roots of Kwiatkowski Funeral Home & Crematory reach back to the early 1900s, when the original funeral home first began serving families in Omro and the surrounding Winnebago County communities. Built on the principles of modesty, integrity, and personal care, it quickly became a respected part of local life—supporting families through their most difficult moments with compassion and understanding.

In 2002, the funeral home entered a new chapter when Steve and Denise Kwiatkowski purchased the long-standing establishment and rebranded it with their family name. Though they were relatively new to Omro at the time, Steve and Denise brought with them values that aligned deeply with the traditions of the community: simplicity over formality, sincerity over show, and heartfelt service above all else.

For more than 17 years, the Kwiatkowskis devoted themselves to caring for families with honesty, humility, and unwavering respect. Under their leadership, the funeral home continued to be a modest, traditional space—never aiming to be large or elaborate, but instead focusing on kindness, personal attention, and meaningful service. Their philosophy was simple: sensitivity, compassion, and respect are what truly honor a loved one’s life.
